Dr. Sommerville was raised in South Jordan, Utah, where he attended Bingham High School. In fact, he grew up just about a mile from our office. He received a scholarship to play basketball at a junior college in Wyoming.
Dr. Sommerville then served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Long Beach, California, where he learned to speak Spanish.
After returning from his mission, he married his high school sweetheart and finished his scholarship in Wyoming. Dr. Sommerville received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah.
He then attended dental school at Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2018. After graduation, he started his career as an associate with Spring Dental in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he spent three years.
Since starting his career, Dr. Sommerville’s continuing education has focused on implants, endodontics, and digital crowns. What he loves most about general dentistry is having the ability to treat a broad range of pathology to help patients with their oral health and cosmetic needs. As a local dentist, he loves to see people enjoy newfound self-confidence when they are happy with their smile. He and his wife Annika have two girls and two boys.
Dr. Kirk Simmonds grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Weber State University, he attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky.
Following dental school, Dr. Simmonds completed a formal General Practice Residency at the University of Utah, where he received advanced training in surgery, dental implants, and restoring complex dental implant cases. He is highly proficient in complex restorative cases and takes pride in providing top-tier care to his patients.
Dr. Simmonds is deeply committed to his patients and strives to make every visit a positive and comfortable experience.
Dr. Simmonds lives in Salt Lake City with his amazing wife and their four children—three boys and a girl. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and attending sporting events.
Dr. Tyler Bray is a native Utahn who grew up in South Jordan City. After graduating high school, he served a mission in Paris, France for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After returning from France he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah.
He then attended Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in South Jordan. Upon graduation, Dr. Bray moved to Bentonville, Arkansas where he practiced for two years before moving back to Utah. Although he enjoyed his experience in Arkansas, it has always been his dream to practice in Utah as a local dentist and serve the people who helped him get to where he is today.
Dr. Bray has continued his education in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and digital dentistry. He currently attends the SPEAR education center in Scottsdale, to continue his education in digital dentistry.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Bray enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys. They enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, and exploring new places. He is also a devoted fan of the Utah Utes, Utah Jazz, and Boston Red Sox.
